Adult Faith Formation Overview
The Church’s catechetical mission aims to help the faithful grow in both human and Christian maturity, enriching the whole of life with the leaven of the Gospel.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is the normal way in which adults become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church. If you, a friend, or family member is interested in becoming Catholic, the RCIA is here to fulfill that yearning. If you, a friend, or family member desires to receive the Sacrament of Baptism to become Catholic, then this the program for you. This program will
culminate on Easter Vigil which will include being baptized as a Catholic, receive First Communion, and the Sacrament of Confirmation and there become fully initiation to the Catholic Church.
Adult Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is the Sacrament of Initiation that confirms our Baptism. A large number of Catholics have received the Sacrament of Baptism, and maybe First Communion but not Confirmation. Many don’t realize this until the register to be a valid Godparent and are advised they must be fully initiated Catholics. Our program is here to help you fully enter the Catholic Church.
