Community Beautification Day – Spring 2019

It’s been a wonderful year! Thank you to all the students, professors, university staff, year-round parishioners, volunteers, and benefactors that allow us to achieve the vision and work on the mission of the Newman Center. We have been able to accomplish all this and more because of your dedication. MAHALO!

Before final exams, let’s celebrate our community Christmas party & honor Fr. Jack on his retirement…
A main dish of ham will be provided and we welcome pot-luck side dishes of appetizers, salad, desserts, fruit, cheese, dips, and healthy plant-based dishes. We will have punch and we welcome offerings of wine and bubbly.
There will be a photo booth to capture the wonderful community memories!
You are also invited to help decorate Newman’s Christmas tree on Saturday, December 1st from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
if you choose to give Fr. Jack a retirement gift (not tax deductible), a basket will be in front of his office
Two ways to register:
Savor an exciting evening fiesta organized by graduate student from Spain, Andrea Flores Calle, and her fiery troupe of Nicole Lang, Jo, and Anastacia Lowe.
Enjoy light tapas, Sevillanas dance lessons, abanico (hand fans) and peinetas (hair comb) making.
Please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare. For more information, contact 808-988-6222 x211 or email campusministry@newmanhawaii.org.
