This year, our
12th Annual Brunch, we will gather at The Hawaii
Prince Hotel
on Sunday April 18, at 11AM.
The “Ohana Brunch” is an annual
fundraising and community-building event to benefit
the Newman Center, the Catholic campus ministry
Center at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The
Center serves a parish community of 250 families
and students.
The Newman Center's programs include
a year-round calendar of educational and social
activities, worship services, leadership training,
retreats, social justice ministry, speakers program
and mentoring services.
The Sunday brunch typically attracts
about 400 Newman Center members of all ages, their
friends, and UH students. A delicious buffet brunch,
silent auction, music and children’s corner are
part of the event. The focus is on people having
a good time and getting better acquainted with
each other.
