A Future with Faith

Forming Catholics on Campus to become Leaders for Tomorrow
Serving the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa

Did You Know?

Did you know that 90% of Catholic students - more than 4.6 million - attend non-Catholic colleges and universities like the University of Hawai'i at Manoa?

Did you know that those who participate in campus ministry when in college are more likely than other Catholics to:

  1. attend Mass at least once a week
  2. be registered members of their parishes
  3. be "very involved" in parish or other religious activities
  4. give money to a Catholic parish or another Catholic organization
  5. encourage someone to serve as or personally consider serving as a priest, sister, brother or lay minister?

For more details, see the Report of Findings from CARA's Catholic Campus Ministry Inventory.

How You Can Help

Graduates from the University of Hawai'i will become leaders in their parishes, homes, and businesses. Your support of the Newman Center today ensures the Church has a meaningful presence on campus - nurturing faith and intellectual growth in the Catholic tradition and inspiring lives of service, stewardship, and social justice.

The Advancement Office is responsible for raising and securing resources for the Newman Center by soliciting and accepting gifts from those who support our Mission. Our staff can assist with monetary gifts, memorials, in-kind gifts, bequests and planned giving opportunities. Our goal is to develop a lasting relationship with individuals and organizations who wish to invest in the future of the students served by the Newman Center.

We are happy to provide information about how your gift will be used to help others. If you have questions about services provided through the Newman Center, how you can make a specific type of gift, or any other questions, please contact us:
